| This is our newest poor neglected horse Nina |
|
|
| I thank God the Sheriffs Dept. help me help her and do what was right for Nina |
This is poor Nina that was handed over to me by the Polk County Sheriffs Dept.
Unfortunately Nina has had to be put down; she had 5 fractures in just her right
knee and had 3 other fractures in her other 3 ankles. On top of that she had foundered so bad for so long that her Coffin
Bone in her left hoof was entering out of the side hoof wall.
NINA HAS GONE ONTO HORSEY HEAVEN. GOD AT LEAST BLESSED HER WITH THE LAST DAYS OF
HER LIFE WITH THE CARRING HUMANES SHE SO LONG LOOKED FOR IN HER FINAL DAYS.
The pain this poor horse went through before I received a call to go look at her was unbearable to even
thank of. Her knee fractures were degenerating and to severe to even help her. Plus with the Coffin Bone this poor animal.
The one and only choice I had was the one I didn't want to do. But I knew in my
heart that she couldn't live in the pain she was in any longer. It just wouldn't be right to make her continue on in the shape
she was in.
I want to thank all of you with your support, concerns and help with Nina.
