This is our newest poor neglected horse Nina

I thank God the Sheriffs Dept. help me help her and do what was right for Nina

This is poor Nina that was handed over to me by the Polk County Sheriffs Dept.

Unfortunately Nina has had to be put down; she had 5 fractures in just her right knee and had 3 other fractures in her other 3 ankles. On top of that she had foundered so bad for so long that her Coffin Bone in her left hoof was entering out of the side hoof wall.

NINA HAS GONE ONTO HORSEY HEAVEN. GOD AT LEAST BLESSED HER WITH THE LAST DAYS OF HER LIFE WITH THE CARRING HUMANES SHE SO LONG LOOKED FOR IN HER FINAL DAYS.

The pain this poor horse went through before I received a call to go look at her was unbearable to even thank of. Her knee fractures were degenerating and to severe to even help her. Plus with the Coffin Bone this poor animal.

The one and only choice I had was the one I didn't want to do. But I knew in my heart that she couldn't live in the pain she was in any longer. It just wouldn't be right to make her continue on in the shape she was in.

I want to thank all of you with your support, concerns and help with Nina.

This stray just showed up on our door step dieing

On 10/14/08 we treated him with a severe infection and for severe mange as well as starvation

How long has this poor puppy been like this?

Who in the World would just dump the poor thing on a deserted dirt road?

With lots of antibotics and Ivermetcin daily he is comming around slowly. He has gained some weight and has dropped a lot of the swollen from the effection as well as he is almost completely bold from the scabs falling off from the red mange he is looking hopeful. Please everyone keep in him your prayers as well as all of the other rescues we have in our rescue.
UPDATE: He is all well now and doing fine

Please do Gods creatures a favor and speak for them. God put them here for a reason and it sure wasn't to be abused. They can not speak for their self's so we must do his work for them by reporting wrong doings. If you know of someone that can no longer take care of their animals please try talking to them if that does not work contact me I can take over from there. If they will not surrender the animal to me they will have charges brought to them and then I will make arrangements to have animals taken. Neglect charges depending on how bad starts out at 1st degree all the way up to 3rd degree felony with fines and depending on charge jail time.
